Saw this today on the Mail website. Interesting and disturbing in equal measure…
Not really sure what I think about this… Is it installation or performance or painting or what? Or does it blur the line between sculpture and painting?
In some respects I can’t really see the point unless it is a performance piece in making it, or is recorded as such. Otherwise you are left with a photo of a painting that looks like a 2D painting when it is recorded. Only there is no physical painting left.
