So I got home and fancied making something. So I got out a bit of calico (bit thick for felting – note to self!) and started felting in the degummed silk cocoons in squares, just as an experiment of colour – thinking about a summer meadow. And here it is in progress.

Will crack open the felting machine tonight to bed these fibres in as they are tough to do by hand!
