How much do I love my felting machine? Let me count the ways!!!

Who would have thought it would be so good? It has its limitations – precise edges (particularly on the squares pieces) are difficult – but in terms of getting the fibres bedded into the base material has just been phenomenal. Something that might take me an hour to do by hand van be done in 5 mins. And bedding in a base properly can take a day by hand and now takes about 30 mins. This has been brilliant for my poor hand and allows me to get over the ‘boring’ bits quickly to get back to the fine touches or form of seams etc. Also really good for using with thicker base material.

Has meant I have been able to make a birthday pressie for someone in about an hour instead of half a day!
