Photographs of the day – memories in memory

Found this story in the Daily Mail today

About a chap who took a polaroid every day for 18 years.

Most interesting was this

Mr Crawford said Mr Livingston had been quite rigid in his approach to the project.

He would only take one photo a day even if a better subject presented itself later on.

Mr Crawford recalled a day when he and Mr Livingston found themselves walking down the street with a herd of circus elephants.

He pointed out that it would have made a brilliant shot for the day but Mr Livingston had already taken one and so it was left as a memory.

There is a website cataloguing all the images Jamie Livingston took created by Hugh Crawford – who was often involved with the images.

Also interesting that this (although not cited) is often done ‘in memory’ of someone.
